to Ground
One of the options available for effluent disposal is to
discharge the final effluent directly to a land application
area.
The land application area forms an integral part of the treatment
process.
When designed correctly considering all aspects including
flow rates, effluent quality, and soil types the land application
will perform the function of dispersing and providing final
treatment of the effluent for a significant time.
All land application areas should be designed and installed
under the guidelines as laid out in AS/NZS 1547.2000.
The effluent discharge kits provided with the units as standard
are designed to work around soil type four as mentioned in
the standard. Each site should be individually assessed as
to the suitability or otherwise with regard to effluent disposal.
There are some circumstances where flow to ground type discharge
will not be suitable,
